SIMDA Service Corporation started in 2017 out of a desire to see small businesses thrive. We are a family-run company and are dedicated to serving you with personal & individualized service. Even though we work with various types of businesses, we have specific expertise in FASTSIGNS® franchise operations.

Dan Phillips, Owner & Head Accountant
Dan started SIMDA Service Corporation after selling his business in 2017 and has over 37 years experience in financial accounting and business operations. A proud University of Florida Gator, Dan worked in controller & management positions until purchasing his FASTSIGNS® franchise in 1995. He owned & operated the South Arlington/Mansfield, Texas franchise for 22 years. The business grew to consistently perform in the top 5% of 600+ worldwide FASTSIGNS® locations. Upon retirement from FASTSIGNS®, Dan saw other operators struggling to find a quality, affordable bookkeeping option and started SIMDA Service Corporation to fill the need.
Dan has dedicated his time serving in various community service capacities, including 12 years on his local school board, Rotary clubs and Chamber of Commerce. He is also a grandfather of 6 and loves traveling with his wife of 33+ years.

Alexa Wible, Senior Staff Accountant
Alexa graduated from Baylor University in 2011 with a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting. She held bookkeeping jobs while completing her degree and worked as an assistant accountant for a nonprofit organization after graduating. Eventually she started her own business, Strong Moms In Training. After taking her fitness business fully online during the 2020 COVID-19 shutdown, she decided to use her business acumen in a new way and join her father at SIMDA Service Corporation. She resides in Waco, Texas and is excited to start offering our services to other small businesses in her community.
Alexa has been married for 9 years and has 2 children. She enjoys fitness, good coffee, and listening to podcasts.

Sarah Williams, Staff Accountant
Sarah Williams is a graduate of Baylor University with a degree in Biology. Although she doesn’t have an accounting degree, she has always had a love for mathematics and tutored calculus and physics during her years in college. She is still a math and science geek, which comes in handy when any of her four sons need help with homework.
In her spare time, you will find Sarah and her husband of 20 years in the stands at a sports field cheering on their boys. Sarah also enjoys trivia night at the local brewery, coffee with friends, and rewatching Marvel movies
